UI Refinement
Wallkat is taking a significant leap forward with this release, combining modern design principles with enhanced functionality. While the familiar logic remains, the interface has been refreshed and tightened up to keep Wallkat a clean, fast, and fun workspace. The platform now features softened visual elements, more generous spacing, a consistent typography hierarchy, and intuitive tooltips and full tutorial guides that provide context and help without cluttering the screen. The themes have been removed and replaced with a simpler light/dark mode toggle.
New Unified Editor
We’ve completely rebuilt the Wallkat Show Editor to bring your entire design workflow into one unified, intuitive space. Previously split across separate pages for page management, tabletop layouts, and widget grids, the new editor integrates all these features into a single, cohesive space, and we didn’t stop there. Here’s a few of the new editor features:
- Dynamic Layouts & Templated Frames
Tables are now a flexible widget type, unlocking completely new dashboard possibilities. You can scale tables to any dimension and place multiple tables alongside other widgets. To speed up the design process, you can now build from pre-configured layout templates that standardize elements like logos and titles.
- Multi-Select & Bulk Actions
You can now multi-select widgets to perform group actions. This makes managing complex wallboards, especially those with repeating rows or columns of similar widgets, significantly faster and easier.
- Purpose-Built Widgets
We’ve added specialized widgets designed to enhance presentation clarity, including a Page Counter (X of Y), a Dynamic Duration Countdown to track slide transitions, and a Title Widget reflecting your active board.
- PowerPoint-Style Continuity
Managing multi-board displays is now as familiar and straightforward as building a slide deck. You can add, reorder, and configure different pages directly within the main workspace.
- Screen Space Customization & Focus Mode
To help you manage complex layouts on smaller displays, you can independently minimize or maximize side panels to suit your exact needs. For maximum canvas space, activate Focus Mode to hide all sidebars entirely with a single click.

Upgraded Security Infrastructure

API Connectivity: A Single Point of Truth

New Data Source: Sharepoint
You can now target cells in your Sharepoint Excel Sheets to Wallkat as a data source – super handy for some of the bits of data that don’t have a more formal place to live.
